Calling More Poptropi-artists…

Heya guys, Friendly Foot here and I’ll be talking about a new post on the Creators blog…

I bet you can tell from my AMAZING (horrible) title, that more artists for the Poptropica Costume Contest should enter! If you’re feeling too lazy to go to Poptropica, then you can take a quick look here. (It was all copy-pasted.)
The Poptropica Creators are SO IMPRESSED with the number and quality of #MyPoptropicaCostume entries. Seriously, everyone. You are amazingly creative!

We’re so impressed, in fact, that there is NO WAY we can choose one grand prize winner. So we won’t. We’ll choose two winners! Each winner will get a 6-month Poptropica subscription, have their costume created by Poptropica and sold in the Poptropica Store, and see their costume worn by a Poptropican on the Home Island!

But wait, there’s more!

We’re also going to have ten runners-up that YOU vote on! The Poptropica Creators will pick 20 costumes for you to vote on in January, here on the blog. The top ten with the most votes will get a 3-month Poptropica subscription and get their costume created and sold in the Poptropica Store later in 2017!

XD But of course, a full week would be 7 days and the post had said next week… But anyways, before I get off topic let me end off with a sentence that took me YEARS to think up off! (Actually a few minutes but…) If you haven’t submitted a design for the Poptropica Costume Contest, DO IT NOW!! Who knows, you can become a famous Poptropican!! Well, that’s it for me!

Countdown to Christmas: Days 2 and 3

Seashell here! I had requests to do something Poptropica-related for 1 day, so I’m gonna do top 4 winter-based islands. And I’m also gonna do top 3 Christmas movies. The rankings for top Christmas movies comes from Rotten Tomatoes, and the islands were judged from the authors of POP. PS… the islands aren’t really ranked. They’re like the best 4.

So, our top 4 winter themed islands are…..

Wimpy Wonderland, Survival episodes 1+2, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Cryptids (cause’ of Himalayan scene). Congrats to those islands!

A Winter Wonderland in Poptropica!

Hai Poptropicans! Some of you might have seen the new blog post on the Creator’s Blog… And you’ve probably noticed that Home Island has become a, well, WINTER WONDERLAND!! There is also a picture both in the Creator’s post, and on the home page of Poptropica…

I wonder what this could mean…? Maybe the Creators are giving us a sneak peek of the New Pop, or it could just be me being weird. 😀 But if it is from the New Pop, what do you think about it? Hey guys, Icey here! The POP team is announcing our first party, to celebrate winter holidays (summer holidays for some). Since some people don’t celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, winter is what the party is for 😛

Details on the party:

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME!

• TIME : 🕑 31st December,2016 | 8:30pm EST– 7:30pm CST – 1st January, 2017 | 9:30am HKT – 12:30am AEDT (for more timezones, click here)
• CHATROOM :💬 Make a Discord account when you join the People of PoptropiChat. There you can chat with other attenders of the party! Make sure you follow #rules though.
• MULTIVERSE ROOMS :🎉 The multiverse codes will be posted in the chatroom on the party day ^ Have fun playing Poptropica with other party attenders!
• THEME :❄️ Winter! Make sure to design your winter outfits before coming, and look festive!

We’ll also be holding a Best Winter Costume contest for people who join the multiverse rooms! The results will be posted in the chatroom. During the party in the chatroom, we will also hold mini-games such as ‘random doodling’ (see who can draw an item the fastest) etc.

After you watch it, you’ll get the prize called Crazy Kakamora.

Islands of the Month: December begins!

Waddup everyone! December has come, so you know what that means-new Islands of the month! Let’s get started.

This month’s islands are Wimpy Wonderland, and PoptropiCon.

Wimpy Wonderland

The kids in town are enjoying a snow day – all except for Greg Heffley, whose little brother Manny has gone missing! It’s up to you to find Manny, but before you do, you’ll have to contend with surly teenagers, crabby senior citizens, and those rotten Whirley Street kids. Join Greg, Rowley, Rodrick, and the rest of the Wimpy Kid characters for a snow-capped adventure you’ll never forget!

The Creators have gone with a winter theme…DECEMBER! It’s also been opened for everyone, so non-members, get ready to play!

PoptropiCon

Everyone is dressed up for the biggest sci-fi and fantasy convention in Poptropica. At PoptropiCon, the most important thing isn’t what you do — it’s how you look doing it!

[Episode 1: Line Forms Here] PoptropiCon is the hottest ticket in town. It’ll take all your wits — and more than a few disguises — to crash the party!

A SUI random choice for an IotM, but is a really good island amazing in episode 3. If it’s your first time playing all three episodes, you’ll get 500 credits per episode, giving you 1,500 credits total! If you replay all three episodes, you’ll get 300 credits per episode, giving you 900 credits! Smaller, but a good amount!

Skinny Moon also left the island trailers if some are not familiar with them.
